Positive puppy training emphasizes
the significance of understanding how puppies learn and how to communicate
with them. Come learn the encouraging language of positive reinforcement
that will provide a rewarding, respectful, lifelong relationship
between you and your puppy!
The program is designed for
puppies who have received their first set of shots and health check
at your vet office. We focus on controlled social interactions,
decovering new novel stimulus, basic puppy manners, how to channel
and manage your puppy's natural behaviors, tips on house training,
grooming, health and puppy nutritian as well as bond-building games/tricks.
Helpful Orientation: Tuesday night at 7:00-8:15pm

Class: No dogs, we cover people skills, training concepts and homework!
Our Basic Manners program is for dogs 5-6 months
and older. In this program we teach you how to coach your dog through
this process called training. Having a foundation of good manners
and an understanding on how to get your dog to comply with your
requests is essential.

II [Real Life Skills]

After building the desire to comply in out
Basic Manners program or equivalent, it's time to increase distractions
and owrk on your dog's accuracy and reliability. During this class
we will dive into more motivational techniques that will help you
and your dog become and fluent team. While reinforcing the bacis
we will work on heeling, increased control, greeting people and
other dogs and more.

Consider this class your dogs liberal arts education
before you specialize in your chosen sport or family lifesyle.
It is great for pet dog owners as well as the agility, obedience,
rally, nose and water sports enthusiasts, because it is a good day/night
out with your dog!
It helps any dog develope: impulse control, coping skills, self
control, mental stmina for working with you, body awareness, approved
attention, strength, confidence and it creates a thinking (not impulsive)
dog.
